Julie Gonen

Julie Gonen, JD, joined NAF in December 2024. In her role, she directs NAF’s legal strategy and leads the rebuilding of our policy and advocacy work. Julie brings extensive experience in abortion access and other progressive spaces, including roles at the Center for Reproductive Rights and the National Center for Lesbian Rights, as well as board service at Abortion Care Network. Prior to NAF, she served as the Director of Federal Policy at the National Center for Lesbian Rights where her work focused on reproductive health, rights, and justice; access to health care; and an inclusive vision of religious liberty.
