These are more than just words for abortion providers; they are how our members live every day.

No matter the obstacles, abortion providers PERSIST. Each day, they keep going and fighting against the changing tactics used by those who oppose a woman’s right to make her own reproductive decisions. They often endure harassment and even violence, but still, they keep their doors open each day to care for their patients.

They don’t just persist, they RESIST. They refuse to yield to targeted regulations meant to shut down safe abortion providers, and they challenge abortion restrictions in the legislature and the courts. They refuse to let abortion opponents define the debate by educating their communities and sharing their stories to combat stigma.

And most importantly, they PROVIDE. Every day they provide compassionate, patient-centered abortion care. For many of our members, this work is more than just a job, and their dedication is inspiring. Every day they change wom

en’s lives.

We could not be prouder of our members who persist, resist, and provide to make reproductive choice a reality. March 10 marks the National Day of Appreciation of Abortion Providers and we hope you’ll join us in celebrating our members all month long.
